Dubai Horror Collection is not an e-commerce store — it is a fully controllable knowledge archive in the spirit of Wikipedia: encyclopedic entries with sortable image galleries, featured collections, bilingual articles, CMS-driven pages, forms, and popups. Every surface — the visually-built homepage (hero, stats, entries, collections, CTA), navigation, footer, themes — is editable from a single admin dashboard with a visual page builder, live preview, autosave, and version history.

The challenge

The client needed a distinctive digital presence to showcase horror culture with rich media and full editorial control — publishing new experiences quickly, in Arabic and English, with fast public pages and SEO — without depending on developers for every content change.

The solution

We built a Laravel 12 CMS with a visual Page Builder (19 section types, autosave, version history) and an Entry Builder for encyclopedic records with drag-and-drop image galleries (cover, intro, outro). Media is stored on CranL S3, visitor analytics track engagement, and SEO-ready public routes serve entries, collections, and articles — all managed from one admin dashboard.

Architecture

Laravel 12 monolith with SectionRenderer, PageBuilderService, MediaUploadService, VisitorAnalyticsService, and AuditService. MySQL/SQLite persistence, CranL S3 for media, and an admin dashboard for pages, entries, themes, navigation, and analytics. Public routes: /entries/{slug}, /articles, /collections/{slug}, /{slug} CMS pages.

Key features

  • Visual page builder — 19 section types, live preview
  • Autosave and full version history
  • Encyclopedic entry builder with sortable galleries
  • Featured collections infinite slider
  • Bilingual articles archive with SEO
  • Media library backed by CranL S3
  • Visitor analytics dashboard
  • Theme, navigation, forms, and popup management
